Presenting a new focus on DIY styling across footwear for SS20 these Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge Shoes have vibrant laser blue coloured uppers and bright watermelon and university gold accents. Constructed with two tongues for an unusual detail - the outer white Dunk Low tongue is a completely detachable - a white cotton lace up fastening sits on top with eyelets that match the colour of the durable canvas uppers and a suede overlay panel on the outer left side. Typical of almost every Nike shoe design the famous Swoosh tick emblem has been torn away from the outer side panel with just a frayed watermelon coloured outline remaining and moved to the front of the toe vamp for a reworked look. In the same tone, a suede Swoosh tick can be seen on the inner panel. Around the back of the foot a beige suede insert provides a background for embroidered watermelon coloured ‘NIKE’ lettering and the inner edge of the ankle has been padded. For a comfortable fit against the foot the longer tongue is cushioned with an exposed foam top edge whilst the shorter one is made from canvas, both feature woven Nike SB Dunk Low Pro labels around their top edge.

Enhanced by a new DIY effect, skate-focused features are still at the core of this style and include padding around the inner ankle, a foam sockliner which holds a Zoom Air unit in the heel and a herringbone tread pattern. Higher taping between the midsole and upper helps to create a more consistent flick and extra material has been added to high-wear areas for durability including around the front of the foot and back of the heel. With each pair cut out stencils are included so you can customise the look of the shoe further with a variety of Swoosh tick designs.
